The Sun Dial is becoming a reality.
With input from local artists, primary school students and the community and support from the Pyrenees Shire and Regional Arts Victoria, the permanent Ceramic Sun Dial is slowly starting to materialise at the Moonambel Common.
The sun dial mottoes will reflect the theme of crime and time relevant to the adjacent historic lock-up and the planned sculpture wall, featuring occupants of the jail.

Moonambel Community Theatre Company is gearing up for their next production.
Steve & Gwynn are once again hard at work producing a theatrical experience not to be missed. With 'Sleeping Beauty' such a wonderful production last year, what will they be doing for us this year?
It promises to be a great night with the audience able to participate by wearing an old time hat or costume of Victorian era to enter a draw for free tickets to the next two shows. Of course dressing up is entirely optional (but fun!)

MAHG fundraising at Easter.
Not only are some MAHG members in the Easter 'Old Time Music Hall', they will be volunteers at the market which is to be held Easter Saturday in the Moonambel School grounds. MAHG will be providing their usual barbecue (which we have heard is the best in the area and we won't deny that) and devonshire teas with homemade scones and local jams. Delicious!
Moonambel is bursting with energy this Easter. Come and enjoy the fun!
