The Old Time Music Hall
Well, the two performances are behind us. A wonderful success due to the dedication of the performers under the guidance of Gwynn van den Bergen and Steve Lane. A standing ovation on the Monday performance was followed by a stunned cast singing the last song again! Once again the Moonambel Community Theatre Company has provided the town with two wonderful nights of entertainment.
Following on from the pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty' and the 'Old Time Music Hall', the last performance in the Victorian Trilogy is to be a melodrama later this year. Stay tuned.

Moonambel Market
The market was held in the grounds of the Moonambel School which proved to be an ideal setting. Stalls were nestled amongst the trees and gardens with the magnificent red brick school as a backdrop. The market goers enjoyed browsing, buying and chatting.
Our barbecue and Devonshire teas stall was well patronised. We will be putting the profits towards future events such as the proposed gaol installation at the Moonambel Common or the October Arts Occasion.

Core of my Art
We are organising our next arts occasion on the weekend 5/6 October 2013. MAHG is showcasing some local artists by following the process of creating their artwork from conception to finish. With this exhibition, MAHG aims to enlarge the viewing public's perception and understanding of the artists' effort, research and involvement before a finished work is completed. We envisage an exhibition covering different media and enlightening the audience through:
The exhibition will be at the Moonambel Pavilion. This is an exciting way to bring art experiences to our small community. We always hope to reach a wider audience than just Moonambel and invite one and all to attend. |
